Straight up, sometimes I find JohnK to be strident.  But I think he has a lot of good ideas for improving your drawing skills, including drawing toys to make your cartoon drawings more solid.  Here’s good ol’ Donald Duck (with sombrero).

Life-drawings from church, on my tiny tinted-paper sketchbook!  Husband suggested I put in the scenery around the plants and it really made the pic a winner, if you ask me!
